Led 2nd pitch taking alternative 4c line above the original ramp/crack Carol Goodall - AltLd O/S - 05/May/12 with Jonnie Williams

started up it thinking it was storm ... began thinking it seemed a bit hard, bold, long, and overgrown, for a **** 4b . For the 2nd pitch, started up the easy (but bold) ramp just left of the top of the first crack, then I think I deviated from the guidebook line, stepped right, pulled over a small tree into a wide vegetated groove, and then stepped up right of that, and climbed two steeper parallel cracks going up the right hand side above the groove. These lead to a small ledge, from where a short left-leaning diagonal jam crack leads to some vegetated ledges, and then eventually the top. 2nd pitch was really good, but I don't think that was the guidebook way as it was twice as long, and felt a fair bit harder than 4b. A pile of shit not recommended!!! I have never felt so nervous on a loose and vegetated route. STAY AWAY!!!! Sandy Simpson - AltLd O/S - 13/Sep/09 with brian duthie

First pitch quite vegetated, and the second positively botanical - over-grown with heather so no gear for an uncomfortable distance. clipskipper - AltLd O/S - 12/May/08 with Ed Babington
