550m. a.k.a. Central Peak West Face. A line of diedres that split the lower third of the face (8 pitches, IV to V+). An easy couloir/chimney line (200m, some IV) leads to the 200m upper wall. Climb this via cracks and overhanging walls (V & A1) to reach easy ground 60m below the summit. Good rock. 550m, 18hr. [Route 77, AC vol I p. 168]
