Soloed up lower slabs followed by best line in condition which was Jackson/Shea route.Crampon strap broke lower down repair followed by John's axe pick breaking on steeper stuff but contnued onward and upwards. 17hrs from hut to top. Bivied on ridge. Interesting descent next day - another story
