Adam Rib HS 4b
[Adam Rib, pitch 2, 2 kb]The classic line of the crag which takes the right arete of Eden buttress. Start at the foot of the right-hand rib, just left of Eden Gully. Sustained and sometimes exposed climbing which can feel like S or VS depending on the line that you take. If you want an easier ride, stick to the arete and don't be drawn moth-like to the adjacent 4c grooves.

dswansonlow - Solo O/S - 23/May/15

Forest approach could have been easier as mentioned below as it took us well over an hour from the car park just outside Fron village - was mainly due to the pain in the arse heathery traverse.
Jones_88 - AltLd - 21/Jul/13 with Adam

climbing is nothing special, but good views and solitude on a busy weekend make it worthwhile.
adam06 - AltLd - 21/Jul/13 with Wyn Jones

We were drawn 'moth like' into the adjacent 4c grooves having missed the foot ledge at the top of the second pitch. Approach via forest track and direct up scree in one hour, not too bad. Amazingly another party on the route behind us. View here

parked in the wrong place and wandered about for ages! eventually hiked out to the cliff which was very wet,a fair bit of loose rock was encounted,it also rained on the last pitch making for some interesting climbing!!,good route though.

Lovely route in a lovely setting.

Arguably better than Main Wall... More secluded, nicer rock...

I am in blood, stepp’d in so far, that should I wade no more, returning were as tedious as go o’er.
Jenn - 2nd O/S - 05/May/07 with TRNovice

Led all four pitches - less success at leading down the other side of Mynydd Mawr. 12 hour round trip from the Llyn Cwelllyn camp-site and back!
