As per Hayloft but with a harder and finer first pitch starting a metre or so right of Hayloft. Climb the wall to a foot ledge and then follow the finger crack until reaching good holds and a rest. Mantle onto the large ledge above and belay as per Hayloft.

Led p 3 & 4 as one. Pretty crap route IMO.

we got a bit muddled trying to do Hayloft (VS4c) skipped what we thought was the 1st, I failed at the 2nd (I was wearing a bag mind-although probably still wouldn't have been able to get up the thin awkward crack that matches haylofts 2nd pitch description), managed to do the 4th pitch. I think we may have done it in 3 pitches...we got muddled and fell off route!

Climbed as a variation start to Hayloft. I led first and third pitches. Really enjoyed the first pitch. The 'Hayloft' bulge and chimney at the top were less enjoyable!
