Hold blew as I pulled round rib to inspect slab. Burnt my hand on rope whilst falling. Called it a day. P1 filthy with poor protection. P2 clean as far as I got but slab above looked lichenous and gearless. Two stars in guide questionable?

Got up to Iain's high point and didn't like the look of the beckoning dirty slab. Abbed off to retrieve gear

E2 5b, as the move round the rib is irreversible, then it gets worse, with no more gear to speak of, and tenuous moves on dirty rock.

Horrible lichen covered first pitch with poor protection. Probably traversed left much too high (below the overhangs) which turned into what felt like E2 5b, either that or its a sandbag of the highest order. Never again.
