Socratic Swimming Lessons - Part 1** 6a+
250m. A sea level solo traverse on the right side of the fjord (facing out), starting from the end of the road/quay. Generally pretty easy, but a couple of sections of English 5a. Apparently it get's much harder after 250m (up to F7a+), so when things get tough, either retrace your steps, dive in and swim back, or keep going till you fall in!

Nice rest day activity, a couple of fun trickier sections. Very low level and deep water so good for chickens!

Climbed until we got bored, then reversed it all. So much for a rest day

Got past the smooth wall (6a+ bit) and carried on for ages but got bored and swam back before reaching the 7b wall. Had done it as far as the smooth wall twice before in sandals.

All the way to the F7b bit!
R8JimBob88 - Solo O/S - 13/May/12 with Jay

some tough moves, but other than that more of a deep water scramble :)
HAJ Francis - Solo O/S - Apr/12

As we did barefoot the easiest bits were the harder bits as the harder the climbing the less painfull the rock.
Paul1 - Solo - 12/Sep/11 with Nicole

Did it barefoot, was a bit painful! But tons of fun, definitely worth trying. Great being able to jump in and swim to the next bit when it gets hard!
col3 - Solo - 12/Sep/11 with Paul

Heavy swell, rain and humidty make it a bit trickier, but still lots of fun

Kept going till I fell in this time - as did daz, whilst every one else took an early bath on the first crux. Certainly harder than 5+ towards the end

Not sure exactly how much of it I did, but I was gone for 2 hours (apparently) - next time I'll jump in and swim back
