This climb is in 15 logbooks, and on 4 wishlists.
First 3 sandstone pitches felt harder (esp p2 - VS?). Not much gear. Traversed right on terrace to peg, then went up quartzite wall (steep) and found own way to top. Possibly a combination of routes LozM - AltLd - 05/May/12 with Mark J
Finished slightly further right this time, beautiful day. Captain Solo - AltLd rpt - 03/May/11 with Kenny

Well.... Clean onsite for the bits of the proper route! Got onto the last pitch of the VS route in the rain and used one piece of aid.

Alone on the approach after the loch... and very lonely on the climb in the chimney pitch in the quartzite. It was wet and I was a tad unnerved, preparing myself to downclimb about180m. It all work out fine in the end and it went. French Erick - Solo - 18/Jun/07

Attempted to follow Piggott's Route. Managed this on the lower tier, the guidebook description was rubbish on the upper tier and ended up on something non-recorded for a pitch, then followed someone else's route (Hamilton's?) to the top. Great stuff, reached the summit of the mountain at about 10pm just before sunset.

Climbed route on RH side of lower (sandstone) tier, then RH side of upper (quartzite) tier. Amazing! ill_bill - AltLd - 1993 with Peter Collins, Steve Newman
