250m, 4 pitches. First pitch is a tough, thin 6a slab, followed by 3 pitches of 5/5+ and a scramble to reach the upper buttress. 15 min approach walk from the hut. Good route but unbalanced, first pitch is great but rest are pretty easy. Gets you to foot of profumo etc much better than a gully walk.

climb is polar vento ( polar wind) and well named first thing in morning on deliacte slab, hot aches in July! makes it feel a tough 6a which it isn't. great way to get to the climbs on pointe centrale see http://www.rifugiodalmazzi.com/vies_i.html

Not as good as Kermesse folk as though harder, it is an unbalanced and short route. Buttress above looks excellent with routes like Cristillano and Parfume looking great. Unfortunately we were rained off just on reaching the base of these.... Chad123 - AltLd O/S - 08/Jul/07 with Emily
