[Likely to be upgraded to VS in the forthcoming Gritstone guide - moderator]. Possibly a VS has been carved at base. Narrow short crack from start with potential for lay off to left, only mud to haul you over to 1st ledge & drops to severe (as guide) thereon-up.
Good tree & ledge for standing belay.

Only did the jamming crack, which is definitely VS. Very nice in fact with just a little gardening at the top!

This route really shows my weakness- I can't jam for toffee! Fortunatly you can layback the higher section of the crack. Also did the E1,5a start up the arete which is great but unprotected.
