35m. An excellent little climb with fantastic views, not nearly as mossy as the guidebook suggests. Dries fairly quickly despite its north facing orientation.

Approach as for Midge ArĂȘte. Go around the corner to where the polished rock steps begin, a large slab is on your right. Start about 4m left of a large groove in the rock. Staying left, follow the only clean line to the top of the buttress. Protection very sparse apart from in situ peg at 14m. Belay from large steel loop 2 metres back from top of buttress.

Descent; scramble diagonally left and upwards (looking inwards) then descend on scree path to lake side.
