Tiring boot-pack (5hrs total up - 1,650m) after 2 previous days on. Thin snow cover at the top, great spring skiing conditions in the mid section with the odd ice patch, exposed rocks and sharks! Fantastic and at times exposed ski descent!

great climb in superb scenery, weather and lack of daylight meant we cut the climb ,short of the top the regain the valley and catch the train at the eigersletcher to return to the lauterbrunnen camp site.

VV hot day retreated from summit snowfields approx 200m below summit, with thunder heads threatening and summit snowfield complete mush.
