18m. Start 4m R of Kestrel, below a vertical crack. Climb up, then traverse diagonally leftwards along a wider crack to the ash tree. Finish as for Kestrel. (From CC guide).

Ouch. Brutal jamming traverse that quickly degenerated into a desperate cam-by-cam jam-by-jam aid-fest, followed by an aided retreat.

Superb short brutal jamming crack leading to small ash sapling, then delicate balancing up the arÍte, deserves more traffic to keep clean, great fun.
