Messed this up, used up a lot of energy placing gear and struggled to find rests. Fell just by the easing of the angle as hands opened. Rested on rope and then did it on second try
Very nice route, seemed low in the grade considering the excellent gear.
This would be HVS in the Peak.
After a frustrating failure to lead it myself

Route of the day
Got pretty pumped placing gear, but once you decide to go for it it's over pretty quickly. Nice route.

Nice climb. But probably low in the tech grade.

Very much dogged this - three rests. And placed two pieces of pro from rests. Climbing isn't too hard but recovering is. Didn't fancy running it out so got too pumped to do it in one go.
strenuous layaway moves over bulge, fine climb
Few down climbs after placing gear, ran the crux out a little rather than hang around pumping out placing gear. Little spooky. Good climb.

nice route. probably only about 11-12m
Too late in the day..
On Chris's gear
Pulled off two blocks.
first E1 , about 12th trad lead :) good gear all the way up
A large block to the right of the crack on the crux broke off when I lead this, causing me to fall and it made the next moves a little harder but still around the 5b grade.

liked this one a lot, nice and strenous. Mid section i had a massive run out, should of placed a couple of large cams into the flared crack but decided to go for it instead of pumping out ying to place them. worthwhile climb
Placed plenty of gear up to the crux then downclimbed for a rest before completing.

Mid section is the tough bit. Struggled most of the way up but stayed on somehow!
Lovely route - pretty obvious big moves lower down and then crack runs out a bit at half height for the crux - I didnt sort my feet out at this point and just kept going. Should have sorted my balance .. oh well.
Failed miserably to lead this in Sep/07, couldn't get one move at half height even seconding! Nice and steady this time, good route.
one small rest!

Strenuous but good climbing.
