Climb the slabby wall, average angle 40 degrees, between the main buttress and the big snow gully leading up to Bealach Dearg. Interesting rock steps, some avoidable, none too difficult. The final snow slope is steep and may finish in a big cornice. Impossible to move onto easier ground once the climb is properly begun, although descent should be reasonably uncomplicated.
