Started up this route but finished up Little Chamonix.My first lead - thanks Les. You may not believe this but when I was on route a bloke soloed past me and Les (who knew his climbing history) shouted over to him, "No roller skates and boxing gloves today then!" Apparently the 'bloke' who soloed past me on my first ever lead was the guy who soloed Little Chamonix in roller skates and boxing gloves. How is that for a memorable first lead.
