Lead as one, but is really 2 separate pitches. First pitch is steep, with a tough dynamic boulder to start and then sustained moves through the roof. Second pitch starts well but the top is contrived and it is very tricky to avoid little cham's holds entirely as the groove has a large plant growing out of it and the crack becomes very dirty.

Felt like there was something lacking. Felt hard, even after the upgrade? OK.

CMoore 17/Jul Lead O/S

Dyno at the bottom was exciting. Might have missed a foothold. led as one pitch. Lots of rope drag despite extending things.

Tough. Took a while to figure out first move then your committed ! Had a real fight with steep finishing moves but managed it after falling off on last attempt. But good gear all the way good safe lead.

Required a heart-stopping dyno on a tiny foodhold for me for the lower crux (Rob comfortably reached it). Another hard move required for the upper crack, where I fell off a couple of times, which is a pointlessly easy move for Rob, as he just reached the hold. Quite height-dependent.

Ben started up it in the rain, but backed off after the bouldery start. I went up next, and with the sharp jug, wet hands and shoes and intimidating rainy weather I shamefully decided to rest. Responded to Ben's suggestion that I 'man up', I carried on up to the capping roof, but opted to avoid the rain for a while longer by making hard moves traversing left under the roof rather than following on up Battering Ram. Dont know what it was, but there was chalk on it! Lovely 6a sequence, protected well enough with microwires, but then had to pull up round the roof back into the rain on mammoth jugs. A very enjoyable adventure.

Great route, easier than it looks, first move is a bit of a boulder problem and overhanging groove above took some working out. Top pitch is pretty pumpy and escapable. E3 6a seems fairer....

Steve lead first pitch which was more like 6a, i then took he second pitch which is good but contrived near the top as you can reach into 'LC' top end of the grade i thought.

Left battered after leading both pitches on a hot day. Felt physically sick at the top after the struggle.
