Ben started up it in the rain, but backed off after the bouldery start. I went up next, and with the sharp jug, wet hands and shoes and intimidating rainy weather I shamefully decided to rest. Responded to Ben's suggestion that I 'man up', I carried on up to the capping roof, but opted to avoid the rain for a while longer by making hard moves traversing left under the roof rather than following on up Battering Ram. Dont know what it was, but there was chalk on it! Lovely 6a sequence, protected well enough with microwires, but then had to pull up round the roof back into the rain on mammoth jugs. A very enjoyable adventure.

Great route, easier than it looks, first move is a bit of a boulder problem and overhanging groove above took some working out. Top pitch is pretty pumpy and escapable. E3 6a seems fairer....
