Round 2. (A return visit, having retreated from it without attempting p2 in bad conditions two years ago.) Pitches 1 & 2 only. I led the second (crux) pitch but Steve was unable to follow so I had to ab off and retrieve the gear on the way down. (We were both pretty wiped out after a 17 day road trip to California.) Anyway, mission accomplished as far as I'm concerned (although I guess I should return some day for pitches 3 & 4).

CLimbed to the top of the fourth pitch. The pitch is great and well worth doing. It is, however, verging on dangerous. The key hand hold is a chock stone with a load of rubble behind it. There is also a large flake wedged under the overhang, BUT IT MOVES LEFT AND RIGHT! I hate to think the rock fall that would ensue if it came out.

Great route but bad moving flake on P 3

Steve led the easy first pitch & then we baled out because it was too cold & windy
cem - 2nd dnf - 18/Nov/12 with Dave Amos, Steve Gould

Fourth pitch is at least as good as second & third, so do it!

Great climbing although felt soft for the grade. The fourth pitch is well worth doing.
