Intimidating from below, but a confident approach to pull between the big holds makes this relatively easy for the grade. Brilliant and varied climbing with a steep lower wall/crack and fun slab at the top.

Sublime positions, so close to the big bank holiday crowds on main part of saddle head, yet feeling so remote. great adventure finding the ab line past cave. Wet start on tiny ledge above big sea, followed by fun steep jug pulling and final technical run-out slab moves

Best route I have done in a long time. Loved it. Exposed at almost every point and a great line starting with v.steep reachy/jammy/pumpy climbing moving to a run-out slab. The abseil was awesome - going into a cave midway up then to abseil past and continue down. The belay point at the bottom is a ledge about the size of an A4 piece of paper with a few wires in the crack. Take lots of wires and a few mid-big cams. Leading would be shit-scary. Greaaaaat route!

Fantastic atmosphere and not a hint of polish.
