In the centre of the Sentinel Buttress, a good little climb that culminates in a nice right facing corner.

First route of the season. A bit thin but good frozen turf and good gear!

stiff for the grade, but well protected and digging will reveal good hex placements of all sizes. rime and verglas add interest where present on the crux moves.

Under a large amount of snow, no way is this climb III 4. Protection is good where it is found under snow. Unless we moved too far right instead of following the corner directly, I'd have this at grade III due to the pro but at least tech 5 due to the linking 4 moves across the slab. 2nd move (crux) we both had to torque to pull up and across.
