Near base of Jacks Rake go up the right hand scree (heading north). Climb up over small chockstone near the base of scree then scramble up to larger chockstone near top. Climb the chockstone 5m (advise rope in wet conditions) then easy run out to top of Pavey Ark.

Not in good condition deep powdery snow ,it was nice to see we where the only ones to clear the gully this day as we exited crossing unbroken deep virgin snow .

Jacks Rake crowded with dithering walkers so opted for Easy Gully. Large chockstone near top provided a bit of excitement in the wet weather.
