Loose rock, muddy cracks, sparse gear, and not 4a at the top. Lead the 2nd - nicest bit.

Don't think the fierce crack (5b?) at the top of the last pitch is the finish that's described, I suspect the easier angled groove to it's right is. That looks a bit bolder though (especially if belayed immediately under it like we were), and still not easy looking. There is a tenuous alternative out left too. I opted for the crack but ended up frigging it.

Pitch two simply brilliant. Too much vegatation on first pitch. Top pitch is a struggle. Spotlessly clean shoes essential. Feels much harder than HS 4a. More like VS 5b.

Didn't fancy the last 5m of the last pitch so got a top rope chucked down. Found it wet even though the rest of the route was dry and the useful crack was filled with mud (so not so useful)! Loved the exposure on the middle pitch. Really fun!

Top pitch in very poor condition, green and greasy as some previous climbers probably agreed due to the amount of gear we found up there. We thought we'd come across a stash but then had to use it to ab off!
