Awesome route! Thin flake on the upper cruxy section will probably ping off on someone soon though

Really good climb, quite atypical for slate due to the presence of actual holds! Felt quite steady, although I wouldn't want to test the bolts; they look about 20 years old and feel like they're made of mud!

Quite a position to be on the solo, the bottom wall has some beaut slatey moves and the top crux felt pretty spicy for DWS. Doing Nicky's Leap just rounded off an awesome experience! 6c with some good rests.

Cowardly down climb rather than heroic fall. Didn't fancy the move out the groove.

Had a good look at the route while abseiling down to the waterline. Good climbing in a fantastic position. Might come back for the DWS ascent on a less grey day.

Agree with Will on the climbing not being amazing, bottom groove is a bit flaky and there's a few loose holds. Definitely exciting and an amazing though!

Great experience, although the climbing isn't amazing, the position and style bring it up to 3* for me.

Before pizza.Exciting stuff. Spicy move out left to start and quite a few holds to confuse you on the crux.

Can't see why anyone would lead this when its so solo-able. Such a brilliant pitch! Committing, intimidating, unique, but ultimately safe - climbing doesn't get much better than this!

Sweet route with good climbing on good holds and a spicy swing-a-round.
