First pitch was much steeper than it looks from the bottom! Awesome climbing. Did the left hand finish off the arete. Lucky to have enough hard snow for the top out. jamestheyip - Lead - 28/Mar/10 with Alejandro Garcia
The only climb I ever seen that looks less steep from below. Most of the first pitch is probably overhanging. el cholo - 2nd O/S - 28/Mar/10 with jamestheyip
A kind of Smith's/Kellet's hybrid. Started up Smith's and finished up Kellet's as ice was insufficient to gain the ramp on Smith's. Good effort from John on the steep and thinly iced upper pitch! Kevin Avery - AltLd O/S - 02/Jan/09 with John Shepherd
Completed this route's 1st pitch seconding, as we did a Kellett's/Smiths Hybrid. Fell from the top of the second pitch of Smith's Route and got a brilliant view back down the bulging Ice, before i bottomed out bouncing twice and the rope becoming tight on the slope below. Dave Warburton - 2nd - 09/Apr/08 with IanJackson
Pitch one only (crux pitch) finished up smiths, due to running out of screws. didn't know the route when i started but it looked good! Sustained Sections of 90 and maybe even 100. had to be rescued of top pitch which is explained elsewhere due to my belaying failure IanJackson - Lead dnf - 09/Apr/08 with david warburton
