First ones up that day, icy section was a bit demanding as the snow was soft and collapsing, did lots of kicking in for feet. Following parties went around to the left out of the gully, local knowledge I suspect.

Scrambling over icy boulders in lower third but good neve further up. Nice ice pitch (optional)about two thirds of the way up where 'The Blue Icicle' is beginning to form.
