LJKing - Lead O/S - 31/Mar/13 with Paul Clarkson

Solo'd until the ice fall at mid height, then two pitches before finishing to the top. Perfect neve snow on clear, cold and sunny day.
NickBrown - AltLd O/S - 30/Mar/13 with Susan, Tim

Loads of Grade I, only one pitch. Waited 2.5 hours for a team of 3 to lead the crux pitch and follow it in series.
Hardonicus - AltLd O/S - 30/Mar/13 with Alex Thompson

Moving together up to ice fall (looooong wait for party who nipped ahead of us).

3kidsandanorton - AltLd - 24/Feb/13 with Diccon Proctor

Soloed to the foot of the traverse, which involved steep sugary snow with only marginal protection. Then bailed.
Hoyes - AltLd dnf - 17/Feb/13 with Rachel B

Soloed up to the moves right then bottled it since it was a mega run-out right across steep slush puppy. Hard to protect lead and second in current conditions. Ab'd down a ropes length then soloed all the way back down the slush puppy :(
Batt - Solo dnf - 17/Feb/13 with James Hoyes

Up to ice fall met two lads who had tried direct and one of them took a gear ripping fall from 20m above belay resulting in a factor two on belay. He seemed ok but said conditions were dodgy. Went for a look and it sure was. Took a long time to come down.
Ewan Russell - Solo dnf - 12/Feb/13 with Myself!

Simul-soloed to below the Direct ice pitch, which Ben tried to climb and took a massive gear ripping fall on. Downclimbed the steep snow protected by buried axe belays and then ran away.
MikeLell - Solo dnf - 12/Feb/13 with Ben

tobydunford - Lead O/S - 21/Feb/11

Drove up friday night, slept for a few hours in the tent (tied to the car), early start, long walk in, epic route! Did the crux pitch with not very much gear! Scared myself but very enjoyable. A little snow on the gullies but plowed through it all. Drove back in the evening, epic day!!

pretty soft snow on top pitch.
Alco-nomic - AltLd - Mar/10 with Andy Wardle

Unprotected traverse was interesting, good ice for pick placements. On the top for sunset, then a long walk out in fading light.

I think it was centre post - possibly south post - with Stu (asleep)

tom.e - 2nd O/S - Mar/04

Scary crux - very thin film of ice over bottomless snow. Debateable belay and no runners.

Tried the Direct but it was like climbing vertical sugar. When I dropped a couple of feet in my steps, I wisely traversed off to the ordinary route and protection. There were 2 Mountain Tech axes just above my highpoint, marking the point from which an American took a massive fall the previous day, resulting in helicopter rescue!
