I'll put clean onsight solo because I did all the route, then was blown off-balance as I mantled/stood up on the very top of the arete. It was a wild, blustery day, all scudding clouds and laughing gales. I fell the full length of the route onto the boulders below. Knocked completely unconscious, I was amazingly lucky to walk away with only bruising, cracked ribs, badly gashed head, smashed teeth and severe concussion. Lucky, because of where I landed, and the fact there was nobody else on the crag at all. A night in the RVI in Newcastle and I was discharged. I have a photo taken from the top, looking down, from a later visit when I soloed up and down it twice, to subdue my demons. I ought to have died that day.
