Cruisers Creek E1 5b
Between Cracked Arete & Orange Flash. Pointless eliminate
The description in the guidebook is inaccurate. On the FA, after the mantel onto the ledge at head height, tricky moves were made straight up to a horizontal seam, NOT the vertical seam next to the arete as the book states. Maybe less of a pointless eliminate that way?

Probably strayed off the true line at several points. Could not quite make sense out of the description so put my own sense into what was there.

Didn't really understand the 'rules' for this route, interesting to hear the description in the guide is incorrect. Climbing the arete on its right-hand side is pretty good and not very eliminate. Worthwhile.
