Definitely took more difficult route (hence, more fun!) as two first pitches were lead instead of being scrambled (stayed on the left from the easiest scramble path, just right to the arete). Made it in 3 pitches and scrambled to the top unroped after the crux. Seconded all the way up. My first multi-pitch climb.PPP - 2nd O/S - 10/Sep/14
As part of the Traverse.

Quite a bit of grass in places but rock sections are lovely. Abseil off the top too.

In big boots (needed for the grass!). Great views and exposure, fantastic weather for it! Repeated in descent.

Nice climbing in places but quite a lot of walking on grass. As part of the Cobbler traverse as per Scotland's Mountain Ridges.

Great climb although we had rubbish weather.

As part of full S & C Peak Traverse, topping out at 9pm. Fabulous after 2 weeks of no rain - all that grass surely grotty in normal conditions. Crux wall a good hard scramble, no easier or harder in ascent than the descent off down Original Route. Thanks Robin for moral support,

Up South East ridge then down Ordinary route. Alas the heavens opened so we couldn't complete the Dan Bailey traverse.
