Cleared the lip but couldnt find the higher holds, took 2 big falls onto the cams in the break. Felt tough for E2.

Pretty horrible style - tried to lead, hung lots, then set up top roped and dogged it some more! Top slab needs a good clean and seems tough for E2....

Lying horizontally along the crack under the roof with a knee lock is quite relaxing - suddenly finding yourself on the slab above in a westerly gale has the opposite effect. No gear from now on, just delicate, smeary climbing. 3*** as far as I am concerned.
