Start just left of Birch Tree Wall beneath the small overhang. Step up and pull right, around the roof and into the first groove of Birch Tree Wall. Step up the groove then swing left [crux] to join the Direct Start which leads to the foot of a second groove. There is now a choice of finishes… (1) the variation finish to Birch Tree Wall up the wall on the right, or…(2) climb the wall just left of the groove trending leftwards to the blunt tapering rib (just right of the final groove on Enigma). Finish directly up the rounded rib (no sneaking right onto the ramp).The climbing is reasonably independent and not without interest.
