where to start?, I mistakenly climbed most of pitch 2 of Boswells new route before a very scary traverse committed a long way above marginal gear got us back on route, The rest of the route was fantastic, annoyingly I took a small fall at the start of pitch 4. Brillant adventure!

Full winter experience today - should have left the cams at home! I'd heard that the norm in winter is to split summer pitch two, taking a stance at the base of the corner. So we did. I linked the second half of summer pitch 2 and summer pitch 3, unfortunately taking 3 falls.

We wouldn't win any prizes for style but we got up it! I led the first hard pitch then Jim accidentally ignored the tat & stance and ran the next 2 together making a sustained 30m tech 8 monster! For the easy final pitch, I think I made the opposite mistake and took the groove above the obvious tat & belay when we should have been further left, but the meat of the route is past by that point. Proper winter conditions - spindrift, icy cracks in places, good coating of hoar, rime & snow. Felt like a big day!
