Would benefit from some gardening, but the actual climbing was better than it looked. Good, second traverse pitch a little necky, but just needs care.

As two pitches. Don't know why this doesn't get done more often: quite amenable at HVS, crux well protected, and amazing situations. Perhaps FRCC guidebook description puts people off - let's see if it changes after new guide next month!

Lead pitches 1 & 2, before partner took lead for p3, then he got a migraine in chimney, and I had to lower him to ground, then ab off, then retrieve gear while he slept! Took a while but good practice. p2 indeed full of loose gear, and hanging belay not quite hanging.
