Not the most fun I have ever had but definitely character building. Gear reasonable. Found a big thread at the ledge. Pumped.

9m bottom rope dry
Too fat for fingers, too thin for hands. Horrible insecure jamming to pass the bulge (fortunately good gear...cleaning stuck wire was exhausting) very dusty and blew into my eyes mid crux. So close to falling at the top...basically every bit of the thrutchy horror show I hoped it wouldnt be.
First climb of day, slipped off after placing second gear...top gear ripped so hit ground & knocked out, 20 guys/10 vehicles from various teams attended to recover me (feeling slightly embarrassed now!). All OK fortunately. 1. Hooray for emergency services and care at Frenchay hospital 2. thx for partners looking after me 3. Seemed dry at bottom but greasy in the middle 4. Glad I wore helmet 5. Remember that even small climbs can bite!

hard to get in the groove, but good gear
A very fine b*stard of a v-groove/crack at the top. Both of us failed to lead it. Partner fell off it.
Rested on a ledge on the right just past the overhang..might have been cheating a bit.
was climbing terrible, to much late night or something, got half way up n arms pumped up had to retreat of to the rite. top roped it after.
