The Black Art** E5 6b
Fierce bouldering moves on small crimps lead up the black steepness between The Niche and Upside Downies to a jug and small cam (not wire as guide said). Continue with interest up the wall to the diagonal crack to finish.

For what its worth I thought this was E56b - Hard crimpy dead point above uneven landing [down climbed about 5 times b4 committing], followed by pumpy to place gear & bold head wall. Done quite a few easier E5 6bs on NE Coast.

Whatever the grade is, it is definitely the hardest and boldest thing I've climbed. Psyched! Boulder problem start felt harder than Red Death, it's steeper, and the wall above is bold and technical = harder than Red Death upper section.

Bit of a gift at the grade Prob E4 6a. Superp route, crux felt easier than Red Death. Easier for the tall? Used mat for start.

Bouldery start, then bold and technical above. Excellent rock.
