This was my first HS, initially enjoyed the route (even the unprotected slab)freaked out when first bit of gear fell out and I was left unprotected quite high up. Had to slowly come down to the left where the boulders are to have a quick rest and place a cam. Think I would have enjoyed the rest of the route better it this hadn't happened. When you find the holds on the arete, they're nice, kept trying to come back to the crack in the middle which was generally to shallow to put your fingers in. Nice layback at the end.

Recommended this to tom after my lovely experience the week before! He flew up it with next to no effort! I found it trickier than on lead myself but got there in the end, just need to remember to keep out to the arete on the slab and to trust quite polished holds! Someone had chalked up all the holds significantly which was abit of a joke really but ohwell! Nice climb, just wish the finger crack was a little wider.

Lovely climb which keeps you sustained all the way up! The initial slab moves are quite worrying but if you position yourself right, you can reach a kind of juggy hold on the right arete of it which is very useful. Some really technical but well protected moves follow, mainly up the face with a little help from arete jugs! I thought it was going to be more focused on the crack but it really is quite thin! For the topout rather than moving out right, I went direct on a small crimpy ledge, and straight up over the bulge which is lovely and exposed. Not sure if thats where your supposed to go but if its not, do it anyway, only 4a maybe 4b!

Love the moves onto and off the slab. Slipped on the top of the slab, need to remember to keep to the right when leading. Didn't enjoy the topping out,my belayer and the bloody rock was in the way!!Ended up hugging the rock again.:P
