A sport VF maintained by Roc aventure.
There are three main itineraries:
- a short green route for beginners. This takes about 30-40 minutes.
- A red route which is harder and involves an overhang.Takes about 1 hour.
- A black route - the hardest - which winds it's way up, down and across the gorge several times, crossing three bridges in the process. This can take 3 hours if you do the entire route.
To find the registration office take the obvious "Via Ferrata" sign between L'Argentiere and La Batie, and follow this down to the bottom of the Durance Gorge. Park on the right just before the river and continue on foot on the road. You cross the river and straight in front of you is the Office.
