From a standing position inside the base of the wide crack two lovely little crimps (at arms length and on opposite sides of the crack) facilitated my upward progress. Getting both feet out onto the L face was the key move, allowing me to back-and-foot upwards. A No. 4 Helium Friend protected the move to quit back-and-footing higher up. The gear on the back loops of my harness was an encumbrance!
