Had done the first moves on a toprope a while ago to retrieve Charley's gear when he backed off so can't claim clean onsight :( Seconded Jack who took the lead after Charley backed off at the crux again. Found the first moves to get around the block the hardest. The crux move was okay once I'd got both hands into the higher hold then used a heel/toe footjam between the flake and the wall rather than the heelhook on the flake that Charley had tried and that Jack used, then right hand onto a bit of a hold and had to inch my left hand finally into a good hold so I could haul myself up. Made it at last!!! Definitely a worthwhile route.

I found moving round the block more difficult than what the supposed crux was! Nice route!

Climbed it to retrieve gear after Charleys valiant effort. Frenched the start just to get to the crux and had no problem with it. I guess there are some routes that being shorter than the average bear does help... I should have lead it....

Very frustrating. Found the start straight forward and enjoyable. Just couldn't do the layback and rockover on to the flake, off the ledge. Must of tried 10 times. I got very close the last few tries but ran out of energy, got grit rash on my grit rash then sliced my leg and tweaked my ankle when my foot slipped. Didn't weight the gear, escaped off onto the slab then had a sulk & moan. Will be trying it again next time...
