The wall and overhang to the left of the arete are bold but not too technical - or are they? © Rockfax

Popped up to have a look at the gear in the break, brought all the wrong stuff with me. down-climbed, worth another go sometime...
Top rope superstars think i must have done the 50 variation haha

Not as bold as the guide makes out, and easy after the reach over the roof, probably should have on-sighted rather than abseiling down to check the gear and moves.

Long reach over with left to rib. Doubt I would lead due to lack of gear.
Andrew Edwards, Oli Birkill
Enjoyed this - nice moves & got the forearms going!
Think I went to far right.

Backed off the other week due to rain. Went pretty smoothly today. Very misleading description, it's really not that bad.
Easy after reaching through the roof.
Nice route but not 100% sure I was on the right line, I was a little further right than the rockfax eastern grit line. Seemed like the obvious way up, was the same way that Mark is doing it in the photo and felt E2. Nice route.
Not so bold as I thought it might be
I started climbing, but it was too scary and backed off by climbing down (cleanly).
Completely out of it: tiredness & after effects of a bad cold caught up on me
