A good left-hand finish to Auricle. Span left along the lip, from where the ordinary exits rightwards, to reach the jugs and a spectacular finale out in space. © Rockfax

Nice one Tim!! Laid back block with left to reach the ear. Easier than undercut for me. Top out was easier than expected.
E3, really? I mean, I'll take it, but there's plenty of harder HVS...
Loved it. Spicy top out too!
Nice litle route. Looking at the pictures on here I could have got more gear in higher up to protect the moves through the top roof. Didn't feel like I needed it though, otherwise I'd have looked a bit harder! Had one look at it first to suss it out, rested, then went for it and was fine.
Started up neb buttress direct, then up the crux of auricle then on to this. Climbed clean but not onsight, I've done all the other stuff on the buttress and seconded the E3 before.

First E3. Soft touch but good top out.
Had previously led Auricle (in 2010)

Had previously led Auricle.
Fell of the start of the roof after faffing with gear and not committing. Rock to the face was my punishment.

Found Auricle reach hard. Jumping Jack L finish is easier but must have been very bold and committing to lead. Look at the top first to see where to head to to finish

Two ticks for the price of one - did this as the finish of Auricle. Whole pitch is probably only worth hard E1 5b but great quality. JJL - easiest E3 in peak? (easier than flying butress for sure)

had an interesting 14m fall from the top moves. yummy
