Ian lead straight up from the 2nd belay up a corner and direct through the overlap narrow chimney. I think this gave a great direct finish but was harder than the previous two pitches.

I slipped on a ledge and on my bungees towards the end of p2.Did not even weigh the ropes. It was all a bit humbling as I was so pumped above the 2nd crux that I couldn't stop. My belayer was really scared. I was whizzing and puffing too much to be scared...not the way I imagined my first VIII.

I got the first pitch. Unfortunately one small slip. Found second pitch very thin and resorted to hooking a couple of bits of gear. tut tut.

An outstanding route! Not a bad move in the three pitches
