Crag features

A compact granite crag overlooking Loch Linnhe, a good sheltered location. The climbs on the right side slabs from the arete to the steep wall were all climbed solo by Davy Gunn 1981. Shuttlecock (HVS) has an large loose block/pillar at the top which has shifted several inches out then stopped. Looks ripe for collapse but appeared unmovable when inspected from above (Nov '17).

Approach notes

Easy walk in but don't block the track. When you reach the 1752 information board, go hard right to leave the forestry track, follow a faint path heading up and right which shortly cuts back left to the crag base.

Best access to the top of the crag is by going diagonally left (east) to outflank the crags, then back west along the top of the cliffs to a cluster of pine trees on top. The correct way is indistinct from time to time, but if you end up forest bashing whatsoever you've gone the wrong way - the route was cleared up, so it is an easy walk, 5 mins. Another 20m beyond the pine cluster, the path curves round to a slightly lower open bay - abbing from here drops you down Gunslinger.
