Garbh Choireachan

Ross & Cromarty, SCOTLAND

Climbs 1 – Rocktype Sandstone (hard) – Altitude 743m a.s.l – Faces S

Crag features
For such a large crag, there is only one route currently in the SMC Northern Highlands North Guidebook. Walking in is fairly straight forwards, simply head SW from the parking spot, and follow one of the few vague paths up hill, contouring around the base of the SW Ridge of Ben Mor Coigach. There looks to be plenty of scope for new routes, although how solid the rock is and whether it is going to give good climbing is another question...

Access notes
Park towards the end of the single track road, but not in areas marked as turning places.
