Pen Tyrau

Climbs 29 – Rocktype Welsh igneous – Altitude 500m a.s.l – Faces NW

Crag features
A short series of buttresses facing North West on the tip of Arenig Fawr, with a few very appealing pocketed walls that catch the evening sun but need dry conditions. Easy access and worthwhile in summer.

Access notes
As for Daear Fawr: Park opposite the old quarry on the minor road running parallel to the A4212. Walk up the steady quarry track until opposite the crag, cross the wall and stream and scramble up. 15 mins.
