Access notes
Go to Gilsland just off the A69.Follow signs to Spadeadam and Butterburn. At the top of the hill there is an MOD restricted entry roud, go right to just past a mature stand of conifers on the right. Park in a layby just after a small bridge. Follow the signed way to "Irthing Gorge" on the right. The crag is on this side of the river, past a stone building with a concrete roof.
