Crag features
Towards the northwest tip of Bernera, this superb little headland juts out into Loch Ròg, a short walk from the end of the road at Bostadh. There are a number of outstanding climbs and deep water solos here in a tremendous setting.
Approach notes
From the A858 at Garrynahine, turn south along the B8011 for 3 miles/4.8km the turn right (north) along the B8059 for 4.7 miles/7.5km to cross the bridge onto Great Bernera. Continue north along single track road for a further 4.6 miles/7.4km to car park at the road end at Bostadh.
Contour southwest across the hillside above the reconstructed dwelling, cross the burn and head uphill beside a small side burn to reach Loch Sgal Mannus. Follow the south side and a short distance beyond the loch, drop down southwest towards the obvious headland. Most of the climbs are out on the far tip where there is a yellow-coloured lichenous promontory between two corners.
To reach Geòdha Mor follow the road to its end at Tobson by a small beach. From here, follow the stone wall south around the last house. Head northwest around the highpoint to reach the geo.
