Ardlair Crags Ross & Cromarty, SCOTLAND
Climbs 7 – Rocktype Amphibiolite & S – Altitude 100m a.s.l – Faces SW
Large buttresses on the north side of Loch Maree. Sunny with stunning views, offset by poor rock in places and loads of ticks.
Good tracks from Poolewe, turning south just before Kernsary to reach the cottages at Ardlair. Recce Buttress lies above the ruins while the others are half a mile further east along the shore. About 2 hours walk, less to bike or canoe. Avoid during the nesting season.
