Crag features
This southern outlier of Hart Fell lies northeast of Moffat and offers a number of easy winter routes on the large craggy faces above Blackhope Burn.
Approach notes
From Cappelhill on the A708 follow the east side of Blackhope Burn up the distinct land rover track then cross the burn when opposite Coomb Craig Ridge and carry on up to access climbs.
| Access note - rather than heading up the West side of glen as indicated in Lowland Outcrops, better to head up the East side of the Blackhope Burn as there is now a landrover track all the way to the end of the glen floor. peebles boy - 13/Dec/14 |
