Fort Pembroke

Climbs 20 – Rocktype Granodiorite – Altitude ? – Faces W

Crag features
A short beach-side crag with plenty of bouldering. Some good E1 slab lines good for soloing. Tidal.

You could have a good day out climbing here at low tide then moving to the bouldering circuit across the bay when the tide pushes you off.

Kiosk, restaurant & toilets 300m away. Topos on

Approach notes
No bird restrictions, although an Oystercatcher nested on the stack in 2009

Park by the slipway at La Jaonneuse bay.

The Stack floods around 5.5m above chart datum (~'1/2 tide'), and the slab at ~6.5m above - so theoretically it will stay dry on a dead neap tide.

Jersey and Guernsey (1987)
